Hi, and welcome to my little corner of the internet.

 

I’m Teri, a yoga student and teacher trained in India and Nepal. Over the past six years, I’ve had the opportunity to share yoga in over 1000 classes with students from many different backgrounds, ages, and walks of life. I will always see myself first as a student of yoga, continuously learning through practice, study, and lived experience. I teach from that same space of curiosity and ongoing exploration.

Being able to share yoga practice with my students means a lot to me. It’s important to me to create a space that feels safe and supportive, where you can slow down and meet yourself as you are. From there, yoga naturally starts to move beyond the mat. What we explore in practice becomes a kind of training ground for everyday life, like how we breathe when things feel overwhelming, how we respond instead of react when we practice challenging asanas, or how we come back to ourselves again and again through meditation.

For me, yoga is something you live, not just something you do for an hour on the mat.In a fast-paced world we all live in today, it becomes a way to slow down and reconnect with your breath, your body and yourself. A chance to truly be, as we should as human beings.
